latest pix, with new silencers
and now, with new wheels

after its initial big clean |

Bought from a failed E-Bay auction, nice low mileage of 10,735... It
wasn't the cleanest specimen around - but a nice "not messed with"
example. The bike wasn't garaged by its previous owner, so the ally
work was quite dull. A wash and clean did wonders for it. It got a
good going over and hit with a tin of ally and chrome polish -
applied with much elbow grease! |
I have replaced the stock silencers with
a brand new pair of "Screaming Eagle II" silencers (jeez they are
loud - lol) and have modified and re-jetted the carburettor to get
the engine running sweet with its new pipes. The improvement can
only be described as "magic". The bike runs soooooo much better,
ticks over like a watch, and gives loads more low end power. Latest,
new wheels!! a chrome "solid" in the rear and a 13 spoke alloy in
the front (see pic above) - Nice eh? |
